I have a Euphorbia silver swan. What do I do now that the flowers have died on the spikes that have grown?

Beware of getting the sap from any euphorbia on your skin when cutting out the stems. It is better to wear garden gloves when performing this task and wipe your tools down afterwards

This is one variety that needs pruning - cut out the stems which have flowered at the base, leaving any new shoots which haven't yet produced flower - these will flower next year.
