Out in the garden today an noticed that among my iris's there's a gladioli ( prob not spelling it right) grow there , that never has before it's puzzling me how this has happened I don't have these anywhere in my garden

Answers
I can only guess they grew from seed and you never noticed it till this year as it was just foliage before this year. The bulbs are certainly too different to mix up!

I too had a rogue yellow one in my garden this year and I've never planted one either.

Yes I have a pink gladioli which appeared mysteriously and which features in one of my blogs - I never knowingly plant pink flowers!!! Conspiracy theory anyone ha ha! The lead singer of The Smiths used to put gladioli in his back trouser pocket - perhaps a subliminal political message ;-D

That's strange JJ as I've got a peach coloured gladiol in my garden that I haven't planted!!
