Hi everyone
I haven't been here for a while but I really need to know something. I have an Aqualegia a rather lovely purple one bit recently I have notices that there seems to be plants with an almost identical leaf formation growing all over the garden can Aqualegia self seed or am I imagining it, and if so what can these plants be

as soon as you recognise the leaves [rather pretty] you can easily pull aquilegia out from where you dont want them. we have lots and they look very pretty but mainly come up pink or purple.they are rampant self seeders!

Yes that is exactly what they do. They dont always come up the colour you expect. You may get more purples but you may get other colours too.
