Two years ago I planted a wisteria, this winter it appeared to have died. I removed it from the gatrden but put it into a pot "just in case" .it now has a healthy looking shoot growing from below the graft. Will this shoot develop into a healthy plant or have I lost my wisteria?

The seedlings that the named varieties are grafted onto also may not bloom for 20 years, or more.

I thought Wisteria grafts were the same genus so I assume that yes you will have a Wisteria growing, just that it will not be the variety you bought as the graft is growing, not the grafted part.
