A green pod containing yellow sweetcorn like seeds was found on my sons doorstep who lives in Braintree Essex.
His young daughter ate it before a photograph could be taken. Any ideas what this could be please?

probably was sweetcorn. local kids 'acquire' these from the nearby field.
