Here's one more to identify. The man that lived here so enjoyed this yard and has such an awesome diversity of landscape.
You all were right, I'm really enjoying my mystery yard and can't wait until I have everything identified.

I'm not sure, either, as the leaves are Campanula-ish. Are they thin and fragile or hairy and tough? Leave it and see if any flower shoots come up. Then post another photo, please Harli.

Hi Harli, I think what you have is Korean Bell Flower.(Yes it is a Campanula) Campanula takiesemana (sp?) Flowers shaped like bells or hoop skirts... pretty mauvy pink. That's just from looking at the foliage mind you, It could be lunaria too. You will have to post when it blooms.. Give it a a google..lol.

If it were in UK Id agree with Lori re Lunaria (honesty) .Dont suppose you saw any seed heads the size of dimes (impressed with my translation to your currency?).Not a bush but series of seedlings.

Bonkersbon ~ I don't see any seed heads as of yet, but will keep an eye for them.
Yes, I'm very impressed with your currency knowledge. LOL
Spritzhenry ~ I will indeed post a picture along the way. How are you doing, and how does your garden grow?

« I saw these bulbs starting to shoot up, but do not know yet what they are.
Looks a bit weedy to me ! but it could be a campanula.
