Unkbown bulbs

Im guessing they will be some type of herb or wildflower as my mums friend gave a a fair few and this was one of them, but could be wrong... it grew from small bulbs, they are now about 10cms high and the tips have the little ( I think "sheaths" is a word) on the top, now one of the caps has peeled open and inside is about 2 logish somethings that also looks like stems, sorry I dont know what words to describe other than a stem growing from a stem inside a little bag!!
what is it?

well i oroginally thought it was a chive, as the stems are very similar and yes its very similar to onion skin it doesnt smell f anything, the stems are almost hollow like if you gently squuze them does that make sense?, it doesnt feel solid and the little bits in the bag there about 3 more stems along with the very long one popped out
am really excited about this

it looks like an allium. the flower hasnt opened and its done its own reproduction thing in the bud. i reckon shortly you will find a bulbil or two inside the sheath. they will then drop off and grow as separate plants.
