My Victoria plum has yealded hardly any fruit this year. What there was has gone mouldy and dropped off. Any ideas, apart from the obvious wet weather ! Last year I made Jam, chutney etc etc, this year barely enough for a couple of pies!

Pollination was bad due to weather and less hive bees in circulation due to a mysterious problem with deserted hives or bees just dying off. 'Colony collapse disorder' I think they say in USA. Next time round get a fluffy long handled cobweb brush and ruffle it through your blossoms at the right moment.... might help a bit.

Frosts, drought, torrential rain and hailstones didn't help either......

How do I say thanks?
