Living near ocean, is there a spray that I can use to protect
my flowing pear trees from salt damage, possible an oil spray?

I will ask around - have not heard of such a spray. A concern would be that the oil would capture the salt and make for salty fried leaves later in the summer. This winter I had sea foam blowing like snowdrifts right up onto windowsills. I think half of what I cleaned away was fine sand, too. But it looked like dried salt.

How do I say thanks?
