At my garden centre meeting last week we were introduced to a yellow-leafed clematis. It has very large blue and gold double blooms in spring followed by smaller single blue blooms for the rest of the summer.
It’s going to be shown at Chelsea next year.
I’ve ordered one for next spring but now I’m not sure where best to put it. I think it would need a shady spot to get the best effect of the colour.
Anyone have any thoughts?

We were told it is a type of montana, developed from some mutant stems.
It's called Celebration.
