From the same breeders that produced the superb Golden Gourmet shallot, comes the variety Red Gourmet. An early to mature, red-fleshed variety with a spicy taste, excellent for use in salads and cooking. Plant from February onwards. (400g of shallots [approximately 15-20 bulbs] will plant a row of about 3m [10']). Maturing time approximately 26 weeks from planting.
