Offering an outstanding power-to-weight ratio, the Solo 665 is driven by a very high-performance 65.9cc (4.9hp) engine that produces the sort of torque and acceleration you need to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Unlike many similarly-rated saws, this model is not weighed down by its high-powered engine (it comes in at just 6.7kg), so long periods of continuous use won’t be a problem. A digital ignition reduces fuel-consumption on start-up; and decompression-valve keeps ignition ‘kick’ to a minimum. A premium-quality, professional-grade saw, the Solo 665 also features side chain-tensioning for easy access; and is equipped with a Nikasil® cylinder and a three-piece forged crankshaft for exceptional reliability in the face of intensive use. The oil-supply can be controlled to suit the timber-density you’re working with.
