The Solo 160 has been designed with both the landscape professional and the more demanding home-user in mind. Its fuel-efficient and clean-running 25cc (0.95hp) engine offers enormous reserves of power right across the rev band, so you won’t have to run it hard to get good results; and it benefits from the employment of nickel / silicon-plated cylinder and a forged three-piece crankshaft for superior long-term dependability. This model features top-quality double-sided 45cm blades for faster trimming; and it’s equipped with a seven-stage twist-type handle that provides the perfect working angle whether you’re left or right handed. Solo’s EasyStart system, which combines a primer and a half-throttle mechanism, ensures hassle-free ignition; while their multi-point anti-vibration system keeps vibration from the engine and the blade-action to an absolute minimum. Exhaust fumes are directed away form the user for even greater operational comfort. The Solo 160 weighs-in at just 5.5kg and has a 29mm tooth-spacing.
