With delicately fluted petals awash with fruity shades of red and yellow these poppies are very easy to grow direct into the soil in beds borders or containers.Sow March to May outdoors where they are to flower. Prepare the ground well and rake to a fine tilth before sowing 1.5mm deep in rows 30cm apart.

For spring/summer flowering pot plants sow in a cool greenhouse/conservatory during September or October. Grow cool in full light and water sparingly over the winter months. When large enough to handle thin out seedlings to 15cm apart.
