If sown indoors late winter/early spring this annual foxglove flowers in summer (regular foxgloves are biennial). This variety is a dwarfer invaluable for exposed sites growing to a height of 65cm (26in).

For flowering in the same season sow in early spring in good free draining seed compost just covering the seed with compost. Germination usually takes 10-21 days at 13-15C.

If sown in late spring/early summer outdoors lay them 1.5mm deep in well a prepared seed bed and transplant when large enough to handle.When ready transplant into boxes grow cool and finally plant out 30cm apart in sun or part shade in free draining soil.Caution: all parts are poisonous.
