HRH Prince of Wales created Duchy Originals in 1990 due to his belief in the clear advantages of organic farming; the production of natural and healthy foods and sound agriculture which helps to regenerate and protect the countryside and wildlife.
Dills feathery leaves have a slight aniseed flavour; the leaves are mainly used to flavour fish lamb potato and peas and the dried seeds can be used for pickling.

Sow March to July outdoors directly into well prepared soil in full sun. Sow thinly 13mm deep in rows 30cm apart. When growing thin seedlings to 30cm apart if they are not kept watered properly plants can quickly run to flower. Regular sowings are required for a constant supply harvest from May to sharp frosts.
