The Foxtail Lily plant is originally from Tibet. It is tall and has feathery flower spikes. This collection includes three varieties: Bungei Shelford Pink and Cleopatra. They thrive in well-drained sunny sites blooming for 10-15 years without dividing. This makes an outstanding cut flower and has a long vase life- great for adding a splash of colour in your home.
These are robust perennials with lanced foliage and bright plumes - perfect for the border. Plant tubers 90cm (36) apart and 5cm (2) deep and with adequate support. Mulch plants with fresh compost in Autumn and protect young growth with dry mulch as it emerges.
