A tasty, early ripening continental type with plum-shaped fruits. The fruits have a 'meaty' texture and can be peeled if preferred. Use fresh, for frying or in soups, pastes, sauces, and bottling. Shows tolerance to Fusarium and Verticillium Wilts. Outdoor bush variety. Spreading, bushy habit, and prolific crops in August-September. Require no staking or removal of side shoots, and are excellent under cloches. Allow 60cm (24) between plants.
