Position: full sun
Soil: fertile, well-drained soil or loam-less potting compost
Flowering period: June to September
Flower colour: bright orange
Other features: large, bronze-tinted, bright-green leaves

Showy, bright orange, gladiolus-like flowers shoot up (Jun-Sep) above large tropical-looking foliage. Garden care: Avoid planting out young plants until all risk of frost has passed.
