Resembles 'Beech' in stature but smaller, spreads with age. Fluted gray bark with ovate ribbed leaves that turn yellow in autumn. likes heavy wet soils, good over chalk. All bare root hedging will be dipped with Rootgrow professional - Mycorrhizal fungi and Hydro Gel prior to dispatch. The Hydro Gel will keep the roots hydrated in transit, whilst the Mycorrhizal will colonise the plant roots to aid establishment and improve overall plant health.
