A vigorous, spine-free plant that has good disease resistance and is renowned for the quality of its fruit. It starts to produce its fruit quite early in summer and will produce up to a massive, 2.5kg of large, deep-red raspberries that have an exceptionally sweet taste from late July to October.Garden care: Prepare the planting area well, removing all perennial weeds and adding plenty of well-rotted garden compost or manure. Plant canes 8cm (3in) deep, at 45cm (18in) intervals, carefully spreading out the roots and backfilling with soil. Subsequent rows should be 1.8m apart. After these autumn fruiting raspberries have been growing for one year, all the canes should be cut back to just above ground level each February. As the new canes emerge in spring they can be tied onto their support. Please note that as we grow these raspberries especially for you, we need to take full payment when you place your order to reserve the stock. The raspberries will then be despatched to you during November. If you want other items on your order delivered beforehand, please select split delivery in the wheelbarrow when placing your order.
