Easy to use this white cap Unwins Mushroom Growing Kit contains everything needed to grow your own crop of mushrooms. This growing kit is a great way to start growing your own mushrooms which is not only easy but rewarding too.

Contains spawned mushroom compost and casing peat.

Please note: The box doubles as a recyclable tray

Several flushes of mushrooms can be achieved from this one kit.

How To Use:

Simply pour the mushroom compost into the growing tray and spread out evenly.

Place the box lid over the top to create an air gap and a dark environment.

Place in a warm place and keep moist.

After 9-10 days add 0.5 litres of water to the white bag of casing peat and mix well.

Pour this over the mushroom compost.

Replace lid and move the box to a cooler place for mushrooms to develop.

Check every 2 days and keep moist.

After a week tiny white mushrooms will start forming.

Water carefully and keep moist at all times taking care not to get water on the pinhead mushrooms until they are about the size of a pea.

Pick the mushrooms as they appear.

When the first flush of mushrooms has finished place the tray back in a warmer environment for 9-10 days before moving to a cooler place for the next flush to form.
