This is a new variety from China which, like our other Fargesias, is a non-invasive clump-forming bamboo (unlike the rampant bamboos of yesteryear!) and extremely hardy. The plants are very graceful-looking, with narrow leaves, and new culms that are an attractive purple colour. It can be grown as a specimen or as a screen, and also does extremely well in a large container on the patio. Height 3-4m (10-13'). Supplied in a 17cm pot. Part of our Tropical Garden range of tropical plants. You don't have to live in the tropics to create a tropical garden. With the hardy palms and bamboos featured you can create your own little jungle-like haven!
