Dwarf French Bean Amethyst (Phaseolus vulgaris) are popular among home gardeners as they are easy to grow and harvest.

They are ideal for growing in pots window boxes patio containers or in the flower border.
A decorative ornamental edible this is also high in vitamins A K and fibre.

Cropping:
June to October

Sowing:
Sow seed March to June thinly direct outside 3cm deep in rows 45cm apart and 20cm between plants. Alternatively space sow seeds in a bucket sized container to create an attractive and productive crop.

Growing:
As this variety is dwarf it requires no staking making it easier to grow in large containers on a sunny patio.

Aftercare:
Keep well watered during dry weather.
