A Fleuroselect Novelty Award winner Aquilegia Sunshine is a bushy plant smothered in gorgeous fully double blooms that are pastel yellow in colour.
With very long 5cm spurs these looking stunning in borders when planted in drifts of 5-7 plants. Aquilegia Sunshine certainly creates an eye-catching display!
Type: Hardy perennial
Flowering period: Late spring to mid summer
Sowing:
Sow February to June or September to October.
Sow seed on the surface of a good free-draining damp seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. Seal a container inside a polythene bag and place at a temperature of 15-20C (59-68F). Germination can take 1-3 months. Do not exclude light as this helps germination.
