A compact-growing variety which makes it possible to grow tasty butternut squashes on your patio. The plants are quite ornamental, with huge yellow flowers and attractive veined foliage. Bred in the UK, it performs well in our climate, and the delicious sweet-fleshed fruits, each up to 1kg (21/4lb) in weight, will be ready to pick from August (much earlier than standard varieties).
