Helleborus Foetidus (Stinking Hellebore)

This exceptional form of the native stinking hellebore boasts maroon-suffused leaves, stems and flowers. The hardy perennial plants form domes of elegant, dark green, unusually finely divided foliage from which arise beautiful clusters of apple-green flowers. Its name comes from Wester Flisk on the Firth of Tay where the plant originated. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Flowers October-March. Height 50cm. Supplied in a 9cm pot.
