A fully hardy specimen which will thrive in our cool British climate. This wonderful orchid enjoys a moist, semi-shaded position (it looks beautiful naturalised in a woodland site, or in clearings between shrubs in a cool, shady border). The plants produce strapping, arched green leaves and, in early/mid summer, impressive purple flower spikes which are made up of numerous individual blooms. Flowers May-June. Height 40cm. Supplied in a 1 litre pot.
