Bergenia Plant Morgenrote

A superb ground cover plant, producing spreading mats of large, leathery, deep green, wrinkled leaves (somewhat reminiscent of elephants ears - hence the common name). 'Morgenrote' is particularly notable for its repeat flowering habit, its red stems, topped with rich pink flowers, appearing over a period of several months. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Flowers June-August. Height 30-40cm. Middle of border variety. Supplied in a 9cm pot.Supplied as large, well established potted plants that can be planted straight into their final positions in borders or patio containers.
