Blackcurrant Plant Noiroma
Garden Centre > Plants > Fruit plants & trees
Noiroma boasts such a high sugar content that it can be enjoyed as a dessert fruit! Plus it's one of the largest fruited varieties available, and so easy to pick! With a strong upright habit and good disease tolerance, it will grow happily in most soils. Pick from mid June through to July. The breeder, Markus Kobelt says: The first thing I do when I'm on the currant field is to 'steal' some berries from the Noiroma bushes....Before Noiroma I wasn't such a big fresh currant eater! Supplied in a 5 litre pot.Lubera varieties - Lubera is a Swiss nursery owned by Markus Kobelt. This man is passionate about fruit, and he has continually strived to create new and improved varieties, always with the goal of producing plants that are easier to cultivate (all will thrive in the UK climate), more resistant to disease and always better tasting too. His breeding programmes have resulted in many exceptional new varieties of raspberries, blackberries, currants and apples, amongst others.
