Meconopsis Plant Napaulensis
Garden Centre > Plants > Perennials
Meconopsis belong to the poppy family (Papaveraceae), but they are not true poppies (Papaver). Commonly known as Himalayan Poppies, these magnificent and much admired perennials bear breathtaking poppy-like flowers. The clump-forming plants are fully hardy and prefer a lime-free soil. Supplied in a 9cm pot. Napaulensis - From the midst of large rosettes of evergreen bluish-green foliage arise tall stems of semi-pendant pink flowers with beautiful orange or yellow anthers. They have the added bonus that they will self-seed freely, often creating the most delightful unplanned displays! Flowers June-August. Height 60cm (2').
