Mirabelle Tree De Nancy

A mouth-watering plum-like fruit which has been widely cultivated in France since the 15th Century. This is a traditional mirabelle, with small, round, fruit with small stones that can be eaten fresh from the tree when fully ripe, but are delicious in baked desserts and jams or even, more traditionally, plum brandy! The trees are renowned for cropping abundantly. Grown on St Julien A rootstock, providing a medium-sized tree.
