The Smart ValveR is the Worlds first Polymer Moisture Sensor Water Valve. Its 100% automatic, working without power, computers or electronics. Simply position it in your plants' hydroponic or capillary matted growing tray, set the water depth required (from 7 to 20mm) using the adjustable depth regulator, and connect it to a water reservoir of your choice. Plants regulate their own water requirements - once the water has been used up the Smart Valve automatically refills the tray! This provides a completely natural 'wet and dry' cycle for plants, ensuring there is no over- or under-watering and reducing the risk of disease and bacterial root infections. It not only saves time and effort, but also saves over 35% of normal water usage. Ideal for holiday watering too. Complete with 1.25m (4') black PVC flexible tubing, outlet fitting, hole forming tool and full instructions.
