Thanks to its high-performance 2200w electric motor larger debris and damp leaves can be piled-up with ease ready for dispatch to the compost-heap. When used in vacuum-mode leaves are reduced by up to 90-percent of their original volume before being deposited in the 40-litre collection-bag. Hard items (twigs acorns pine cones etc) are separated-out and sent to a separate five-litre collection-box (mounted under the blower) so they won't damage the shredder turbine and contaminate the leaf-mulch. The collection bag is equipped with a zip for easy emptying. With its lightweight design (just 5.1kg) superior ergonomics and comfortable shoulder-strap the Al-Ko Hurricane 2200E is a pleasure to use.
