Its high-quality plastic housing is impact- and corrosion-resistant; and the scarifier-shaft is mounted on double-row ball-bearings so it won?t stiffen-up with age. Thanks to its centrally-adjusted six-step working depth the Al-Ko 3800-VE is really easy to set-up to suit the job in hand. It?s supplied with a generously-proportioned 60-litre thatch-catcher so emptying-breaks will be few and far between; and it weighs-in at just 21kg making it highly manoeuvrable and easy to propel across the grass. Cable strain-relief ensures the plug cannot be accidentally pulled from the socket. This model?s 38cm working-width makes it ideal for small- to medium-scale domestic use.
