The Al-Ko MH4000-LM Petrol Cultivator has been developed to make the life of the allotment-keeper or domestic veg-grower a whole lot easier. Suitable for both primary and secondary tillage it?s equipped with a high-performance 140cc overhead-valve engine that you?ll find is cheaper to run and more reliable than a similarly-rated side-valve engine. The emission of harmful exhaust particulates is also minimised. Equipped with a set four specially-designed 30cm-diameter blades the Al-Ko MH4000-LM will cut through and turn-over even the most stubborn soil-types without problem. Power is sent to the blades via a high-torque transmission that?s bathed in oil for reduced wear and therefore a longer working-life. A safety handle guards against unintentional engagement of the blades. This practical and convenient cultivator incorporates a pair of crop-protection discs which not only prevent damage to existing crops during soil-aeration but also stop weed roots and other debris from becoming tangles around the blades and rotor. Other stand-out features include a three-stage drag-stake for quick and easy adjustment of the tilling-depth; and an ergonomically designed padded handlebar for reduced vibration transfer and comfortable operation. The Al-Ko MH4000-LM has a 50cm working-width and weighs-in at 44kg.
