The Farmer MH5001R from Al-Ko is an aptly named tiller as it can be paired-up with a ridge-plough attachment or a hoe-blade attachment both of which are optional. Suitable for both primary and secondary tillage over larger areas it has a substantial 50cm working-width and has been fitted with a set of four hardened-steel blades that will make light work of heavy soil-types. The working-depth can be adjusted between 15 and 20cm to suit both the conditions and the nature of the task. Power for this high-quality German engineered machine is supplied by a high-performance 5hp Quantum-Series engine from the world?s favourite small-engine manufacturer; Briggs & Stratton. As you?d expect from a B & S power-unit achieving ignition is fast and stress-free. The inclusion of a detachable transport-wheel ensures you?ll have no trouble lifting the tines out of the ground and manoeuvring the tiller to its next starting point.
