This top-quality German-manufactured cultivator from Al-Ko has a generous maximum working-width of 75cm and as such is perfect for use on large allotment plots and substantial home vegetable-gardens. Key to its superb tilling-performance is its high-powered 5.5hp Briggs & Stratton Intek engine. This 206cc overhead-valve unit has numerous advantages over its standard side-valve competitors including cooler cleaner and quieter operation; more efficient power-delivery; and significantly reduced exhaust emissions. An extra-large 2.8-litre fuel-tank means longer intervals between refuelling-stops; while a Maxi-Clean? air-filter ensures comprehensive purging of the air-stream for an impressively lengthy engine-life. The Al-Ko MH5060R Petrol Cultivator has been fitted with a series of six heavy-duty steel tines that will effortlessly reduce even the most sun-baked soil-types to a consistency that?s perfect for planting and/or seeding. There are three preset working depths so you can select the one that best matches the conditions. Other noteworthy features include a reverse gear which makes it easy to free the tiller should it become bogged-down; and height-adjustable handlebars for reduced operator-fatigue.
