Its hugely powerful 13.5hp Briggs & Stratton features an effort-saving electric starter and drives a four-speed transmission that not only enhances manoeuvrability but also allows you to tailor the ground-speed to suit the type of undergrowth and terrain you?re dealing with (the provision of a reverse-gear makes it easy to back-out of awkward corners). A blade-brake clutch makes it possible to drive across non-grass areas without the blade turning; while wide-profile pneumatic tyres with a deep tread provide the stability needed for safe operation on banks and other adverse terrain. The DR FBM-26B All-Terrain Field & Brush Mower has a 12-degree pivoting mower-deck so you can be sure the blade will follow every undulation of the ground. This feature also helps to prevent scalping when working on more delicate turf.
