With its in-built decompressor this brushcutter has an assisted starting system that is integral to the design of the engine and therefore will stand the test of time. Whereas spring or battery assisted starting systems are dependent on components susceptible to wear and tear the system employed on the Efco DS3800T works on the basis of reduced compression in the cylinder on starting. This ensures continuous quick and easy starting over the full lifetime of the machine. Operator comfort is also to the fore. An anti-vibration system helps to keep user-fatigue to a minimum whilst the specially designed bike-handles ensure maximum manoeuvrability with smallest amount of effort. Also the 26 mm diameter shaft has been elongated on this model by 5 cm to ensure the operator can always take up a comfortable posture. Quality build-features on the Efco DS3800T Professional Brushcutter include an aluminium engine housing ensuring maximum strength and durability even in the face of intensive and prolonged cutting. The air filter has a paper element that affords excellent engine protection even when operating in heavily dust-laden environments and ensures lower maintenance and longer service life. Also the new bevel drive on this brushcutter is attached by way of a male thread improving strength and making removal of the supplied blade and tap ?n? go line head quicker and simpler. The powerful 36.3 cc (1.9 HP ? 1.4 kW) 2-stroke engine on the DS3800T Professional Brushcutter employs Efco?s unique ?Burn Right? technology. It produces 75% fewer harmful emissions than a standard 2-stroke engine and so offer a safer working environment as well as producing less pollution. A further advantage of ?Burn Right? technology is that the engine uses up to 40% less fuel saving you a huge amount of money on running costs during the lifetime of the machine. Furthermore because the engine produces less carbon the maintenance intervals are far longer on the Efco DS3800T which means your brushcutter will spend less time in the workshop and more time in active use.
