This versatile efficient and sturdily built lawnmower has a superb engine from famous and well-respected manufacturers Briggs and Stratton. The 140cc B&S 575 EX series single cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled has overhead valve technology for maximum torque and efficiency reducing emissions and lowering fuel costs through economic use. It produces plenty of torque to drive the cutting deck and the rear wheels saving you the effort of pushing and producing a speed of 3.6 kph while it produces a fine and sharp finish. The construction of this lawn mower with its steel deck powder-coated for extra protection makes it resilient and tough while the wide cutting width of 46 centimetres renders it ideal for medium sized lawns with a wide choice of cutting styles and heights. The Efco LR48-TBR Allroad Plus 4 is a rotary mower with a fast spinning blade which cuts grass very finely. It is a four-in-one machine delivering high performance with three separate cutting methods. You can cut and collect into the large volume grass collector. Or you can cut and discharge to the side or rear to deal with rougher longer grass types and when conditions are very wet. And finally cut and mulch. The rear collection channel is plugged and the mulching blade cuts and re-cuts depositing the tiny clippings directly into the lawn to break down and fertilise the turf creating lush healthy growth greener looking and vibrant. The grass collector has a capacity of 70 litres so you need to spend less time emptying and it is made of a fabric that allows air to pass through to enhance the collection of grass and avoid clumps of grass sticking together or causing blockages. The collector?s lid is made of plastic which will keep the dust down during dry conditions and a grass bag full indicator is included so you won?t overfill and spill your cuttings. Cutting height can be adjusted easily with a very comfortable to use ergonomically designed lever. Six positions are available and you have the choice of heights from 28 to 75 millimetres. Large rear wheels enhance manoeuvrability and turning and both sets of wheels are robust and smooth running with chunky moulded grips for damp or slippery conditions. A front bumper protects the deck from any bangs and knocks. Operator comfort is taken care of by the adjustable handlebars which can be set in one of two positions making sure you have them at a good height for your back and they also fold down making storage and transport easier and have a rubber comfort grip for convenience. A built in carry-handle on the front of the mower and the low weight of 30kg also make transport effortless.
