High performance qualities and supreme operator comfort characterize this superior long reach hedgetrimmer / petro brushcutter from Efco. It's designed for grass cutting and trimming hedges quickly and efficiently with the minimum of effort. The adjustable hedgetrimmer attachment has an angle of rotation of 270? with numerous fixed intermediate positions. It has a 48 cm/19" blade and offers great versatility allowing effortless overhead ground and side-wall operation. The hedgetrimmer has a large tooth gap of 35mm for heavier growth and the unit as a whole has an overall length of 200cm/80" allowing you to reach even the tallest of hedges without the use of a ladder. The power unit has a modern 25.4 cc (1.0 HP - 0.8 kW) 2-stroke engine which employs Efco's advanced 'Burn Right' technology. The engine delivers high torque - even at low revs - whilst producing up to 75 % fewer harmful emissions than a standard 2-stroke machine. Fuel consumption levels have also been drastically reduced (by up to 40%) providing a significant saving on running costs. A further benefit of the Efco's Burn Right engine is that intervals between maintenance have been extended resulting in a reduction servicing and repair costs. One of the lightest products in its class this product from Efco weighs just 5.6 kg as a brushcutter and 7.1 kg as a long reach hedgetrimmer making it easy to handle and highly manoeuvrable. To keep vibrations to a minimum it has been fitted with self-lubricating bushings on the transmission shaft whilst the engine and grip have been kept separate. Other quality features include a forged-steel drive shaft and connecting rod which guarantee dependable performance and long life.
