Modern batteries are far more powerful and efficient than they used to be as well as very lightweight and the NiMh battery in the Flymo EasiCut 420 Cordless Hedgetrimmer will deliver a whole hour of cutting on one charge with a low discharge rate when not being used. This advanced 18v battery and the powerful motor means the hedgetrimmers are more powerful for tough and efficient cutting. The Flymo Easicut Hedgetrimmer's blades are double sided with two reciprocating blades for a fast and even cut every time and a reduction in jamming or blockages as the blades keep material moving. Operation is two-handed so the hedgetrimmer will not work with only one hand keeping the operator safe. A blade protector is included at the very tip of the trimmers. Rather like a chainsaw if you touch the end of hedgetrimmers on the ground or on a hard object it can cause kickback the protector prevents this. A blade stop system is also included for extra safety. Large ergonomically shaped handles make operating the hedgetrimmer comfortable and allow the use of protective gloves while working which is always a good idea. The start/stop button is also oversized for the same reason. The bar length is 420mm and the teeth opening 16mm a decent size for tackling most shrubs and hedges. The Flymo EasiCut 420 Cordless Hedgetrimmer comes with its own blade sheath for safe storage and transport and a battery charger is included.
