The Honda UMK435-LE is equipped with a very high-performance 35cc engine that develops an impressive 1.6hp at 7000rpm. The engine itself is one of Honda's new GX35 four-stroke units which is compact and lightweight and offers superior fuel-efficiency greater reliability and reduced emissions when compared to two-stroke engines with a similar power-rating. It's also quieter-running and you won't have to mess around preparing an oil/fuel mix. Despite its heavy-duty build-quality and powerful engine Honda have managed to keep the weight of this model down to just 6.38 kg. Its low-weight design works with a shoulder-harness and an ergonomic 'D'-loop handle to ensure operator-fatigue is kept to a minimum. Thanks to the inclusion of a nylon-line spool and a robust metal blade the Honda UMK435-LE can be used for both light-duty trimming applications like tidying-up after mowing; and more demanding tasks such as the clearance of overgrown areas of scrub and bramble.
