The Masport MSV 550-SP Genius 5-in-1 Power-Driven Petrol Lawn Mower can do more than just cut grass. In addition to grass-collection side-discharge and mulching-modes this incredibly versatile machine will also collect shred and compact leaves; and is equipped with a dedicated chipper-chute that will chip branches up to 35cm in diameter turning them into a useful mulch for composting. When used in side-discharge mode clippings are ejected via Masport?s Smart Chute so as to avoid messy clumping. Grass clippings shredded leaves and chipped wood are all deposited into a large-capacity 65-litre collector. Driven by a very powerful and ultra-reliable 190cc Briggs & Stratton XVS-60 engine the Masport MSV 550 SP Genius has a generous 48cm width-of-cut and a power-drive; features which combine to take the strain out of looking-after a larger lawn. It benefits from Masport?s Dual Mowzone design whereby the blades extend beyond the wheel-line making it easy to mow close to fences and walls; and a variable cutting-height (10 ? 75mm) which is adjustable via a single lever and allows you to set the mower up to perform effectively on different grass-types. This state-of-the-art lawn mower is built around a highly durable corrosion-resistant aluminium deck which has been uniquely moulded for optimised under-deck air-flow. Its wide alloy-style wheels are mounted on ball-bearings for added robustness and smooth operation; and its Ergo Adjuster handle can be set at a variety of angles allowing you to mow areas that would be otherwise inaccessible. A washport has been incorporated so you can clean the housing with the engine running.
