This powerful and solidly constructed tiller from long-established British brand Mountfield will make the life of those maintaining an allotment or kitchen-garden immeasurably easier. Central to the machine is its high-performance 148cc Briggs & Stratton engine which develops an impressive 3.5hp and features an electronic recoil-ignition for headache-free starting at each time of asking. The four sets of heavy-duty ?Slasher? tines on the Mountfield Manor 35 Cultivator are powered through a fully-enclosed gearbox that will require no maintenance during the tiller?s working-life and which ensures the maximum of torque is delivered to the tine-shaft. There?s a single forward-speed. The tines give you a substantial 54cm operating-width and can be raised for light-duty surface aeration and weeding; and then lowered for deep-level primary tillage. Plant protectors have been included so as to give you piece of mind when working between narrow crop-rows. The Mountfield Manor 35 has height-adjustable handlebars so you?ll be able to achieve the most comfortable working-position. They can be removed if you need to save space in the shed or garage. This model comes as standard with a transport-wheel (for easy site-to-site movement of the tiller).
