Recent advances in four-stroke technologically mean that engines can now be made lighter than ever before in turn enabling you to enjoy the benefits of four-stroke power on your brushcutter (four-stroke engines run cleaner; quieter; smoother; and more efficiently than their two-stroke cousins). The 25cc (0.81kW) Honda power-pack on the Mountfield MB4251 can drive either a nylon-line head (for grass-trimming and edge-work) or a metal blade with four sharp teeth (for clearing brush and scrub). Both cutter heads are included with the line-head benefiting from a handy Tap 'n' Go' mechanism. Thanks to its lightweight (7.2kg) well balanced design; shoulder strap; and ideally shaped 'loop' handle you'll find the Mountfield MB4251 Four-Stroke Brushcutter not just comfortable but also highly manoeuvrable. Also featured is a 26mm aluminium shaft which not only confers rust-resistance but also works to keep the machine's weight as low as possible.
