Powerful and solidly-built but lightweight and easy to handle the Mitox 3814 has been developed with the more exacting domestic chainsaw-user in mind. Its high-performance 1.6hp (37.2cc) two-stroke engine is equipped with a primer-bulb and incorporates Mitox?s ?Smart Pull? recoil-assist starter; a premium feature that reduces the required pulling force by around 30-percent. A Japanese-built Walbro carburettor works to improve both performance and reliability; while a robust aluminium crankcase allows for long periods of high-RPM use in turn extending product-life. Both the bar and chain on the Mitox 3814 are made by renowned American manufacturers Oregon so you can be sure of outstanding cutting-performance. These crucial parts are kept automatically lubricated ensuring peak-performance in maintained at all times. The oil flow-rate can be adjusted to suit the density of timber you?re working with. In spite of its rugged build-quality and powerful engine the Mitox 3841 Petrol Chainsaw weighs just 5.1kg. Its lightweight design works with its optimised balance and ergonomic handle-layout to make it particularly easy to control and really comfortable to work with. Other high-quality features include the Mitox ?Smart Flow? air-intake which prevents the air-filter becoming prematurely clogged; and an incredibly fast-acting chain-brake which stops the chain in one-tenth of a second in the event of kick-back (the chain-brake can also be activated manually).
