An aluminium crankcase ensures intensive use at high revs will not be a problem. The Mitox 4518 Petrol Chainsaw comes with a guide-bar and chain from long-established American manufacturers Oregon. Thanks to the incorporation of an automatic chain-oiler both the bar and chain are kept in peak condition maximising performance and extending the useful-life of the cutting-gear. Durability is further enhanced thanks to Mitox?s ?Smart Flow? system. This removes damaging particles from air that?s destined for the air-filter reducing both maintenance frequency and engine wear (access to the air-filter is tool-free). Handling and comfort are important considerations when choosing a chainsaw. The Mitox 4518 offers an ergonomic handle-layout; an optimised centre-of-gravity; comprehensive vibration-damping; and it weighs just 6.5kg so you?ll find it a pleasure to work with.
