Thanks to the use of a decompression-valve its powerful 3.0kW two-stroke engine will start reliably with little or no ?kick?; while the incorporation of a Japanese-built Walbro carburettor provides enhanced performance and outstanding reliability. Generously-sized oil-and fuel-tanks work with the fuel-efficient engine to minimise the frequency of refuelling-stops. The Mitox 6220 is equipped with premium-quality cutting-gear from the brand-leading American manufacturers Oregon. The guide-bar is 50cm long so you?ll be able to tackle very large log and timbers; and both the bar and chain benefit from automatic lubrication which reduce wear and tear in turn maximising cutting performance and longevity. You can adjust the oil-flow rate to suit the wood-density with which you?re working (the adjuster is top-mounted for hassle-free adjustment in the field). Despite its powerful engine and solid build-quality the Mitox 6220 remains a lightweight machine. Its lightweight construction works with its well-balanced design and comprehensive vibration-damping to ensure minimal stress is placed on the operator?s hands and arms. A fast-acting automatic chain-brake kicks-in at the first sign of inertia so there?s very little chance of accidental injury.
